Actor Rapulana Seiphemo, who plays Tau Mogale on Generations:The Legacy, is getting better at Milpark hospital after having a operation.
A family spokesperson, Mduduzi Sikhakhane, confirmed Seiphemo is “responding well”.
He added that they would not stop praying for Seiphemo.
However a third person Jerry Coertze (28) who was also involved in the terrible accident, died in hospital.
Family member Christelle Tosoni has confirmed that he passed away at 5.10am this morning. Coertze’s stepmother says he was a soft, loveable young man. She has also confirmed that the family is waiting for more details from the police about the accident.
“Our family is in a state of shock and disbelief about his death. It’s all very sad and we are all heartbroken.”
Friends, colleagues and fans have taken to social media to send well wishes to Generations actor Rapulana Seiphemo, his family and the other people and families affected by the car accident.
Seiphemo is being treated at Milpark Hospital. Generations publicist Gaaratwe Mokheti has confirmed that Seiphemo is in a stable condition. “We are currently waiting on doctors to confirm his well-being, but we are just happy that we can look forward to his recovery.”
