Sadio Mane punched Leroy Sane after Bayern Munich’s defeat

Following Bayern Munich’s loss to Man City, Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane got into a fight.

According to Sky Germany, Leroy Sane’s lip was bleeding after the altercation, and the two players needed to be separated in the dressing room by their teammates; the two were seen arguing on the pitch in the latter stages of Man City’s 3-0 win on Tuesday.

After Bayern Munich’s Champions League loss to Manchester City on Tuesday, Sadio Mane punched teammate Leroy Sane in the face.

According to Sky Germany, Sane’s lip was bleeding after the altercation, and the two players needed to be separated in the dressing room by their teammates.

The pair were seen arguing on the pitch in the closing stages of City’s 3-0 win over the German champions at Etihad Stadium in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final first leg on Tuesday night.

Mane, who was a substitute for the tie, was picked up privately from the airport after landing in Munich, while Sane took the team bus.

Bayern Munich has not responded to the incident.

Pep Guardiola revealed that he was “emotionally destroyed” after Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Bayern Munich, a game that Thomas Tuchel felt his team deserved to win.

Guardiola’s side took the lead in the first half thanks to Rodri’s curling shot from a distance, before Bernardo Silva headed in a second after the break and Erling Haaland completed the scoring as City advanced to the Champions League semi-finals.

When asked about a ‘comfortable’ win, Guardiola responded, “It was not at all comfortable.” I’m emotionally wrecked! Today marks the tenth anniversary of my birth. It was an extremely difficult game.

“It was a tight game for 55 to 60 minutes, and they were better than us for parts of it.”

“They improved from the start of the second half. We couldn’t keep them under control. But we changed something and got better. It’s a fantastic outcome. But, in order to avoid suffering too much, we need to do something in Munich. We will try to do it.

I’ve been there several times. I’m aware that this team is unique. “To beat these top teams, you need two outstanding performances, not one.”

Despite the lopsided scoreline, Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel, who was taking charge for the third time after interim Julian Nagelsmann, felt his team was unlucky to lose.

“This does not feel like a 3-0 but it is a 3-0 and it is a huge, huge task now to turn this around. We are realistic, but we will not give up,” said Tuchel afterwards.

“It won’t be over until we’re in the shower.”

Tuchel pointed to Rodri’s game-opening goal as evidence of his team’s misfortune.

“If City gets this kind of goal, things get really, really difficult,” Bayern’s manager said.

“The reaction was fantastic in the first half.” It got even better in the second half. “During a time when the goal could have given us a huge confidence boost, the opposite happened.”
