Nigerian singer Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, known as Joeboy, recently offered some insightful relationship advice.
During a discussion on Madame Joyce’s ‘Cocktails & Takeaways’ podcast, Joeboy said that a woman’s willingness to spend on her partner can indicate genuine affection.
“The easiest way to know if a woman genuinely likes you is if she’s ready to spend on you. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant; a simple gesture like, ‘Oh! I saw this shirt that I really like and I think it will look good on you’ can speak volumes”, Joeboy said.
Joeboy also touched on the topic of gift-giving, suggesting that after three months into a relationship, partners can begin exchanging tokens of appreciation.
“It doesn’t have to be something pricey, just thoughtful gestures can make a big impact. Many people overlook the fact that men also value receiving gifts, no matter how small. We appreciate the sentiment behind the gesture,” said Joeboy.
In a more personal note, Joeboy shared his openness to marrying his current girlfriend, describing their relationship as one of “pure intense helpless love.”
