Davido’s recent revelation about his friendships with fellow Afrobeats stars Wizkid and Burna Boy has left many Nigerians feeling skeptical about the potential for a budding camaraderie among the superstars.

During an interview with Shade 45, Davido dropped the bombshell, stating that he no longer communicates with Wizkid or Burna Boy, despite them all having each other’s phone numbers. This revelation has sparked disappointment among fans who admired the trio for putting Nigeria on the global music map with their hits.

While in New York City for the BET Experience alongside Cardi B and other renowned musicians, Davido shared that although they grew up in different parts of Nigeria, there’s still love between them. Despite recent reports of an online beef with Burna Boy, Davido had previously surprised fans by rekindling his friendship with Wizkid. However, it appears that the flame of that brotherhood has once again been extinguished.
