Might this be the end of the road for Isibaya? Over the last couple of months, Isibaya has said goodbye to a number of seasoned actors. The likes of Muzi Mthabela, Siyabonga Thwala, Menzi Ngubane, Jessica Nkosi and Nomzamo Mbatha, recently left the Mzansi Magic hit telenovela.
Having noted that, Isibaya, has also recruited talented stars like Enhle Mbali, Thulani Mtsweni, and we have also had the return of Zinhle Mabena. There are reports doing the round though, that DStv is pulling the plug on Isibaya.
According to Daily Sun, Isibaya won’t be renewed for another season, which is season 9. The telenovela, has been struggling with viewers as their numbers have been dismal. Isibaya has not been appearing in the top 5 most viewed shows for the longest time now.
