Musician Johnny Clegg has been laid to relaxation in a private rite attended via the circle of relatives and close buddies. His longtime manager, Roddy Quin, confirmed that Clegg’s funeral happened in Johannesburg on Wednesday.
He mentioned it used to be “what Johnny sought after”. Quin confirmed that memorial services have been being planned and details would be printed once he had mentioned plans with Clegg’s family.
“I Can confirm that Johnny Clegg was buried by way of his circle of relatives at a small collecting of people, which used to be his circle of relatives’ request and his request.
We might be making an announcement in all probability at the end of the week about a memorial service, which everyone, the public will likely be invited to,” Quin informed SABC.
Clegg died on Tuesday after five-year combat with pancreatic cancer. Tributes were pouring in for the musician, who used to be hailed for his contribution to the song and uniting South Africans throughout color traces.
