Blue Ivy Carter is hardly at her teen years but you can really tell Beyoncé’s little girl is growing up into mommy’s split image.
On Sunday, the eight-year-old joined her dad Jay-Z to sit court-side at the basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Centre in the city.
Proud dad Jay-Z sat with his arm around his daughter during the game before posing for a picture on the court and meeting and greeting players.
For the day out, chicer than most of us did at that age. But that’s only to be expected from the oldest child of Queen Bey.
Dressed in lace-up boots, black leggings and a top and an oversized denim jacket – which on the reverse had ‘Blue Is My Name’ emblazoned across in large white lettering, Blue was serving us some serious teenage fashion goals.
Though Blue wasn’t joined by her mother for the occasion, it was clear that she now very closely resembles the 24-time Grammy winner. Fans of the ‘Formation’ singer would also be able to notice how much Blue looks like her mother when Beyoncé was that age, thanks to the throwback photos and videos the singer often shares.
Where Bey was, we’re not sure. But it’s plausible she was looking after Blue’s youngest siblings, the two-year-old twins Sir and Rumi.
Blue was last seen with her mother at the Super Bowl, when she sat in front of both of her parents at the Miami stadium to watch the NFL event and halftime performance from Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.
Beyoncé later headed to her ‘Beautiful Liar’ collaborator Shakira’s birthday party afterwards, wearing a hot pink plunging mini dress for the night out.
