Thuli Phongolo Reveals Her New House

Thulisile Phongolo, an actress and club DJ, has recently acquired a new property.

Phongolo posted a selfie of herself on her driveway, clutching a printed snapshot of her property.

When asked about her most recent accomplishment, the actress says she has been holding back on publicly celebrating it.

Thuli P’s passion in acting began at an early age, and she participated in theatre studies in high school.

I hold back a lot when it comes to celebrating and truly showing gratitude for my wins because I wonder in my head a lot… but there it is, once an idea, now my reality. Thank you GOD, my ancestors and my loved for all the support and encouragement I needed to take this step. Ngiyabonga!

Thuli landed her first major acting role when she was 17 years old. On SABC 1’s Tshisa, she played Zama.

Her performance on Tshisa provided her with further possibilities, as she went on to host the Craze programme on e.TV and had roles on Mzansi  Magic’s The Republic and SABC1’s Makoti.

Thuli Phongolo’s most prominent part to date came in 2014, when she was cast as Namhla Diale in the iconic South African soap-drama Generations: The Legacy. Phongolo had been in the drama for nearly four years until leaving in 2018 when her character was written out of the script.

Since her departure from Generations: The Legacy, she has been in a number of other shows and films, including I Am Sofia and the hit Showmax original series The Wife.

After the first season of the famous Showmax telenovela, she quit.

The 28-year-old has used her celebrity to open additional opportunities for herself. Thuli Phongolo, who has always been public about her passion of music, has pushed beyond her acting profession.

She is now a full-time club DJ, headlining some of the country’s largest parties. Despite conflicting reactions to her job change, she has managed to make it a huge success.

Last year, her booking price went viral on social media, causing anger. She was charging R20,000 every concert at the time. Several individuals were irritated with social media since it came with numerous add-ons that cost far more than the initial subscription.
