‘Our goal is to win matches’-Kaizer Chiefs’ Kaizer Motaung Jnr

Kaizer Chiefs’ sports director, Kaizer Motaung Jnr, is pumped up about their plan to bring back the good vibes for Amakhosi fans after a season without any trophies.

Despite a challenging season, Kaizer Chiefs are determined to bring back the glory days for their loyal fans. The team, currently fighting for a top-eight spot in the DStv Premiership, last clinched a major title in the 2014/15 season.

“We have a plan in place to bring back the good times,” Motaung shared. “Our goal is to win matches, bring joy to our fans, and achieve success.”

Chiefs currently sit in eighth place on the league table with 30 points from 23 matches. While the road has been tough, Motaung remains optimistic about the future, emphasizing the club’s commitment to elevating its performance.

“We’re working tirelessly behind the scenes to elevate the club. We know what direction to go in and have a responsibility to our fans,” he added.

To revitalize their approach, interim coach Cavin Johnson is set to return to his role as Head of Youth, paving the way for a fresh technical team next season.

Kaizer Chiefs’ upcoming fixture against Richards Bay on Sunday at 3pm presents another opportunity for the team to showcase their resilience and determination.
