Despite the negative publicity and the mess she’s had to deal with regarding her love life, it seems Bonang Matheba’s career hasn’t suffered the same fate as it continues to rise and rise ever higher.
Bonang has managed to walk away with a couple of prestigious awards this year, and is set to wrap up the year on a somewhat high note, Queen B has been chosen to host the Future Awards Africa (TFAA) 2015 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Nomvula, as she is popularly known, was chosen by the awards Central Working Committee (CWC) to headline the show along with Nigerian artist Darey Art-Alade. According to a press statement.
“The awards celebrate young people who have made outstanding achievements in their communities and careers.”
Despite 2015 havisng been one of both highs and lows for the sultry voiced radio and TV personality, she continues to slay and to come up on top – as rightly befits a Queen.
Seems Queen B’s recent vacation in Mauritius was to recharge her batteries ahead of everyone else so that she can get an early start into 2016. EntertainmentSA sees her already owning the New Year before it’s even begun. Salute.
