The 45-year-old rapper well known as DMX seems to have suffered an overdose on Monday evening.

It is believed that when cops arrived at the scene they found DM X real name Earl Simmons – unconscious and without a pulse.

According to sources, officers were able to wake up Simmons with a dose of Narcan, a drug that's administered to bring overdose victims back from the edge of death and after was taken to a nearby hospital where he's currently monitored.

One witness confessed that DMX "ingested a white powder" moments before he pass out.
