English Premier League side, Manchester City, has confirmed that they have reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland for the transfer of the forward on the 1st of July 2022.
According to transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano, Haaland has passed medical tests with the club and is set to sign.
Man City told Dortmund that they will activate the release clause [closer to €60m than €75m] in a few hours.
To accommodate Haaland, Man City is set to let go of striker Gabriel Jesus for a reported fee of 42 million euros.
At just 21-years-old Haaland has over 151 career goals and is regarded by many football pundits as one of, if not the best striker of his generation.
