After Ciara’s appearance in a risqué costume at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, a few people resorted to social media to publicly criticise her design choice.
But, fans of the “Body Party” singer have come out in support of Ciara and her amazing ensemble, claiming that she has every right to show some flesh and be true to herself.
The debate started as Ciara and her husband, Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson, walked the red carpet at the Vanity Fair after-party.
While Russell looked dapper in his suit, Ciara stole the show with a gorgeous gown that left nothing to the imagination.
When word spread about the star-studded Vanity Fair Oscar Party, one user said it was “kinda wild” that Ciara opted to “start embracing sexuality” as a married mother-of-three. “Too late to be showing your a**,” she said.
As a result of the attire, the user and others questioned Ciara’s allegiance to Russell.
Ciara’s fans defend her against the backlash
Others rushed to Ciara’s defence right away. First and foremost, it was stated that Ciara did not “just start embracing sexuality,” and they utilised some of her songs to support their claim.
