    Watch: Lasizwe wins ‘The Perfect Picture’ season 2

    After nine weeks of taking shutter speed photos, Canon’s hit reality TV series, ‘The Perfect Picture’ season 2 has crowned the winner.

    In the top three of the last episode was contestants Lasizwe Dambuza, Jonathan Boyton-Lee, and Nomvelo Makhanya. In the course of the show, contestants used every bit of knowledge they learnt during the competition to clinch the grand prize of R150,000 in cash and R100,000 worth of Canon photographic equipment.

    Contestants in the last episode, went on a great adventure in the mountains of Lesotho, where Dambuza fell ill and required immediate medical attention but soldiered on for the rest of the competition.

    The challenge started off by the contestants meeting Maps Maponyane for their final brief on a beautiful, snowy mountain. Maponyane made it clear that they were no longer shutterbugs but earned the title of full-fledged photographers, where they competed in four smaller challenges, taking the perfect set of travel log pictures.

    Resident judges Neo Ntsoma and Hilary O’Leary were joined by Tristan Schäfer to make the ultimate decision to make.

    Before the winner was announced, all the contestants from the season reunited at the art gallery.

    After there was a lot of suspense, Dambuza was crowned the winner with 73 points, and confetti filled the room as he was awarded the coveted trophy along with a check for R150,000 and R100,000 worth of Canon gear.

    Reminiscing about his time during the competition saying, “For me it was showing my evolution. “People know me as a child star and for my caricatures I play online. This was my breakthrough of becoming someone new and reinventing myself.”
