The Soul Train awards celebrate the best in Soul, R&B and Hip Hop from both established industry legends and the next generation of promising artists.

This year, the awards are set to take place in a new location in Los Angeles. It promises to a grand event from the music, the culture to the unforgettable performances.

The platform has given a nod to some of Africa’s biggest stars such as Tyla and Ayra Starr making the list of nominees in the ‘Best New Artist’ category.

African giant, Burna Boy, emerges with four nominations in various categories, including ‘Best R&B/Soul Male Artist,’ ‘Album of The Year,’ ‘Best Collaboration,’ and ‘The Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award.’

The awards are sent to take place on 27 November at 03:00am CAT on BET Africa, DStv Channel 129, repeating at 08:00pm CAT.
