Word on the street is that Tiwa Savage has thrown some serious shade at Davido.
Tiwa reportedly filed a police complaint against Davido, claiming he’s been dishing out threats like confetti. Why? Well, Tiwa posted a pic of herself hanging out with the baby mama of one of Davido’s little ones on her Insta story.
According to the BBC, Tiwa spilled the deets in her police complaint, revealing that Davido thinks she’s intentionally trying to get under his skin. Things took a turn for the worse when he allegedly fired back with a heap of “derogatory words.”
Oh, and it doesn’t end there. Tiwa claims Davido even went so far as to warn their mutual pals to tell her to “be careful in Lagos.” Drama much?
In her police report, Tiwa declared that Davido’s actions and words weren’t the average beef; but that they were a downright “direct threat” to her life, privacy, and dignity.
But what’s fascinating is that these two used to be ride-or-die for each other, showering the world with public displays of affection and mutual support. Now? They’ve hit the unfollow button faster than you can say “plot twist.”
Lagos state police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin spoke to the BBC, confirming they’ve got their hands on Tiwa’s complaint.
As for the stars themselves, radio silence – neither Tiwa nor Davido has commented with their side of the story. Looks like we’re in for a bumpy start to the year.
