Did you hear about Kanye Ye West’s latest drama with Adidas? Apparently, he’s accusing the brand of dropping unauthorized Yeezy designs and cutting him out of the royalties!
Ye went on a social media rampage, of course, calling Adidas out for pushing out a new “Steel Grey” Yeezy Boost 350 V2 without his approval.
Ye claims they’re making bank off these “fake Yeezys” while he’s left empty-handed, despite his contract entitling him to a hefty 15% of sales. This isn’t the first time Ye has thrown shade at Adidas for selling knockoffs, but this latest move takes the cake.
Adidas admits they’re sitting on a whopping €300 million worth of surplus Yeezy inventory and plans to start selling them in May, much to Kanye’s dismay. Ye is even alleging that Adidas is suing him for $250 million over the ordeal.
The saga continues, folks!
