African Giant won the Global Music Album category with his 2020 project, titled, Twice As Tall.

Burna Boy who didn’t take the win home at the 62nd award finally did it at the 63rd event hosted by Trevor Noah.

Wizkid on the other hand, won Best Music Video for Brown Skin Girl with American singer, Beyonce.
He is celebrated as a history maker, as he becomes the first afrobeat act to win the prestigious award, which takes place annually.
