Mihlali Ndamase lands on the coveted Forbes 30 Under 30 list

At every turn, Mihlali Ndamase proves that her destiny is defined in the work she excels in. To highlight this, one of South Africa’s most influential online personalities made it on the coveted Forbes 30 Under 30 list.

MIHLALI NDAMASI MAKES IT TO FORBES’ 30 UNDER 30

On Tuesday, Forbes Africa published the cover of the June-July issue which is themed behind the annual commemorative list. In its seventh year, Ndamase, a YouTuber who’s morphed into a beauty and cosmetics empresario, graced the cover, alongside the likes of Shakemore Wellington Timburwa, Antonio Depina, Reinhard Mahalie and Cleo Johnson.

Renuka Methl, Managing Editor at Forbes Africa, explained that, in essence, the 30 Under 30 list is — for lack of a better description — an “annual report card of the continent’s talent trove.”

“Our 2021 class are the young leaders who have faced extraordinary turbulence and unleashed even more creativity in their work,” Methl wrote in a tweet.

From more than 1 000 nominations with representation from 54 countries, Ndamase made it into the final 30. Suffice it to say, her cult following went into a turbulent frenzy on social media.

Here are some of their reactions:
