Beyonce and her husband, Jay Z, are this year celebrating eight years of marriage, which is in celebrity circles quite an achievement. The couple who seem to be in it for the long haul got married eight years ago today ( 04. April.2008) and have gone on to build a very powerful empire in the music business.
Many people might not know this but Beyonce is obsessed with the number four, which makes their eight years of marriage such a huge milestone as it is a double of four. For many out there who don't know, Jay Z and Bey, tied the knot on the 04.04.2008 – the fourth day of the fourth month of the year.
Her birthday happens to be on the 4th September, her mother's birthday is on the 4 January and her husband's, Jay Z's birthday is on the 4 December.
Beyonce even had this to say a while back about the number four:
"[4 has forever been] my lucky number since I was a kid, It's the number of my birthday, Sept. 4, my mother's birthday, Jan. 4, my husband's birthday, Dec. 4, [and] it's the anniversary of my wedding,"
