My Yoki Yoki Singer Vhudie’s Idols journey ends

Even after winning the hearts of many South Africans with his sing-along jam, My Yoki Yoki, Vhudie Mampwe’s Idols journey has unfortunately ended.

The most persistent question right now is; where is the star who seems to be SA’s favourite heading to after Idols?

From the history of SA Idols show, contestants who are now successful singers, did not go all the way to win the title. Could this be the case with Vhudie?

His first audition won him fans across the country and beyond. Vhudie took a risk and performed an original song on his first audition. Immediately after his performance, My Yoki Yoki became a national anthem. Unfortunately as the competition progressed, Vhudie failed to impress the judges at the group stages, and he was sent home.

Quite a number of times when some leave the show, they become so demoralized. That is not the case with Vhudie. He is thankful for the opportunity of being on the Idols stage, and all the doors that have been opened for him.

At the moment he is sitting on 20 000 followers on Twitter, and the numbers are going up every minute. The great news to Vhudies growing fan base is that My Yoki Yoki single is dropping soon.

We wish him well on his journey after Idols, he’s a great star who needs a whole galaxy to shine!
