If the rumours are anything to go by, then there seems to be a worrying rape and physical abuse pattern in the lives and careers of DJ Fresh and DJ Euphonik.
A woman by the name of @Nampree had to bear the brunt of social media users who did not believe her after she accused the two popular DJ’s of allegedly drugging and raping her.
Nampree revealed that she apparently got sexually violated by the two bosom buddies along with three other girls. The woman who has been bottling this rape incident for an undisclosed period said she had to take some anxiety medication before exposing the DJ’s.
She said although she is not completely sure whether both Euphonik and DJ Fresh raped her, she is adamant that she was raped by either of them. All she wants is an apology and for them to acknowledge the alleged rape incident.
“@DJFreshSA & @euphonik will you ever acknowledge drugging me & further raping me? I was completed drugged I don’t (know) whether you BOTH raped me or 1 of you did & you later laughed about it the next morning saying we (me & 3 girls) were so drunk we kept blacking out but nasidlwengula (you raped us)” she tweeted.

She further revealed that she was a virgin when all of this took place, “Just so you know? I was a virgin when y’all did that to me.”

This is not the first time the popular DJs are thrown with accusations violating women. A few years ago, Ntsiki Mazwai accused DJ Fresh of raping her, while Euphonik on the other hand – was accused to Bonang Matheba of domestic abuse.
Many flocked to her comments section trying to find words of encouragement and also to applaud her courage in speaking out. However there is also a fair amount of people who do not believe her, saying they will do so once she opens a case. Nampree has not revealed whether she has opened a case or not however she is ready to face their lawyers should they decide to open a case against her.
One of her believers is poet and actress Lebogang Mashile who said she commends her courage of speaking up for herself and the other three women who were also allegedly raped. “I believe you Sisi. These two have been named in far too many stories of abuse. It’s consistent. I am so sorry that this is what you went through. No one deserves it. Thank hon(ey) for validating others who may be too scared to come forward right now.”
Mazwai is also barred from making any more statements about DJ Fresh regarding the matter, so we guess we won’t be getting her opinion or an “I told y’all so” from the poet.
