Five-time Ballon D’or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has been named English Premier League player of the month for April.
Despite not featuring in all of United’s games for April, Ronaldo’s 5 goals in four appearances have made him a cute above the rest.
In their 3-1 defeat to rivals, Arsenal, Ronaldo scored his 100th Premier League goal. He also won United’s player of the month award for April.
Upon receiving Man United‘s Player of the Month award, Ronaldo thanked all the supporters who voted for him and his teammates who helped him achieve the award. “I’m always proud to represent this amazing club and it’s very gratifying to be acknowledged by the Man. United community,” he added.
On the 31st of August 2021, Ronaldo rejoined Manchester United from Juventus for a reported fee of $12.85 million on a two-year contract.
