It is usually a great compliment when somebody quotes lines from a famous author or source however, we discovered that not all sources are equal and some are worth not being quoted at all, especially when delivering a speech in an August sitting like parliament.
Recently EFF parliamentarian became the butt of twitter jokes when he decided to quote lines from his favourite rapper, Rick Ross.
EFF firebrand Mbuyiseni Ndlozi was discovered to have appropriated rap lines from hip hop maestro Rick Ross, but it didn’t take long for twitter to discover that Ndlozi’s speech was lyrics quoted from American rapper Rick Ross’ song, Blowin Money Fast.
Ndlozi is quoted saying: "We are self-made‚ he just bought it affiliated. We built it ground up‚ and you got it renovated and still killed it."
The Rick Ross lyrics go: "Self-made you just affiliate/I build the ground up/you bought it renovated."
We now know what type of music Mbuyiseni Ndlozi is into. Now if he could only stop stealing his favourite artists lines and give them fair credit.
