For a long time, sexy TV personality Minnie Dlamini has put on this sweet and humble girl cover-up, but diva tendencies are said to be creeping out finally.

According to sources at SABC 1's soccer show, Soccer Zone, where she is a co-presenter, working with the so called 25-year-old, is no fun and games.

According to sources, Minnie went AWOL at the recent Durban July. She was apparently assigned to be the face of SABC Sport and do brand activation appearances a day before the event, but she was nowhere to be found.  This was despite the fact that she had been flown to Durban all expenses paid for by SABC Sport and she apparently did not even check in to the Hotel she was booked in.

When her bosses called her for a gig she was supposed to do at a Durban Mall, her phone was reportedly not reachable. The stylist who had brought a dress for 'Minnie the virgin', accompanied by a makeup artist, couldn't find her at the hotel. A source alleges that Minnie told a friend that working at the mall event "was beneath her" – she would not be caught doing such by her fans..

Minnie was apparently tweeting up a storm at the time, saying it was her dad's birthday and she was spending the day with him. As if that was not enough, after this incident she reportedly showed up late for work, without the iPad she reads tweets from for the show, and this was only discovered when the show went on a break. When asked about the iPad, she reportedly replied: "I don't have it, SO WHAT???"..

Sources say Soccer Zone had to frantically get Xoli Zondo to replace her, when she told them a day before recording the show that she was off to London for the Woolworths shoot with American music superstar Pharrel Williams – seems like Soccer Zone is no longer good enough for The 25 year old Virgin.

"This was not the first time that she had left Soccer Zone in the lurch. She gave less than a day's notice to find a replacement when she went to present an award at the BETs in Los Angeles," said a source.

At the time of going to press, there were unconfirmed reports that Minnie has now been suspended from Soccer Zone.  When approached for comment, Minnie said she was in a meeting. She then asked what the call was about. After we asked her to comment on these allegations, the then hung up.
