I am sure most of us Prince’s fans are feeling sad that the pop star icon has died. Which is why I have decided to share this bizarre statement of what could have killed Prince made by  star, Aretha Franklin.

Now according to an article on the Daily Mail, Aretha Franklin has suggested that Prince Rogers  Nelson could have died from the Zika virus which is a mosquito-borne illness linked to birth defects.

This is after the Queen of soul learned of how Prince was rushed to hospital for ‘severe flu’ a few days before his death.

Speaking on MSNBC, Frankin said: 'They're saying flu-like symptoms. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with this Zika virus.'

Now as to how Aretha came to this conclusion remains a mystery as ,  “ symptoms of Zika can include a mild fever, muscle pain and a headache, but sufferers don't usually need hospital treatment and fatalities are extremely rare”, according to  Daily Mail.
