South African rapper Cassper Nyovest has been on a spiritual note since he got born again.
The rapper was interviewed by podcaster, businesswoman and influencer Mpoomy Ledwaba where he spoke about how he feels he has been wasting his life.
“I’ve been playing with my life and the devil had me. He had me so deep. Everything was validated and I could negotiate why I was doing it. I was addicted to sex.”
“I had such a big ego. I thought I was better than anyone else, but I was humble in the sense that I wouldn’t offend anyone.“
“I was headed straight for hell,” said Nyovest.
Cass continued saying he had an encounter with God.
“He put me in a place where only he could save me.”
“I grew up in a Christian home so I thought I knew God because my mom knows God, and my grandfather is a prophet.”
“Everyone has to figure out their own salvation. So I had to know God for myself. Because you see me as this guy who blesses you. And I do bless you and I’m going to carry on blessing you. But that is not my purpose. I had to die.”
