A scandalous video showing Babes Wodumo allegedly assaulting a costume designer has sparked outrage on social media. The “Wololo” hitmaker is accused of launching an attack on the designer, accompanied by two of her dancers.
According to the costume designer, who spilled the details to gossip guru Maphepha Ndaba, the incident unfolded on February 28 when Babes and her entourage visited the designer’s shop to acquire costumes for the IFP Manifesto Launch in Hammersdale.
“Initially, they wanted the outfits for free. With only R150 in their possession, they couldn’t afford even a fraction of the cost. Our agreement was for them to return the items the next day, but they have yet to honor that deal,” she revealed. Allegedly, the trio continued flaunting the borrowed attire without any intention of returning or paying for them.
“They’ve been parading around in my pieces without a care, fully aware they haven’t paid a single dime for them. I trusted one of the dancers, but he’s been dodging me. I’ve been hounding them for almost two weeks to return the goods, but they keep avoiding me. Even today, they promised to visit the shop, but they never showed up,” she said.
