Plot twist! Justin Timberlake has finally broken his silence about *those* photos and released a public apology to his wife, Jessica Biel. And if you have no idea what I’m talking about when I dramatically say *those* photos, I mean the ones reporters reported of him holding hands with actress Alisha Wainwright while they were shooting a movie in New Orleans.
‘I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family, I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people that I love,’ Justin wrote in an Instagram post. ‘A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment—but let me be clear—nothing happened between me and my costar.’
He continued, ‘I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that. I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.”
In a video from the hang sesh, Alisha was seen resting her hands on Justin’s knee, while photos show them holding hands on a balcony. And according to an eyewitness, ‘He clutched her hand with both of his and was playing with her hands.’ So yeah, not a great look—hence the apology.
