LEGENDARY award-winning gospel musician Sipho “Big Fish” Makhabane spent weeks in ICU after a near fatal car crash! But now he has been discharged from the hospital, and Big Fish is back at work on a mission to spread the word of God and help his artists with their music.
The founder of Big Fish Music walked out of Life Midmed Hospital, in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, last week. He is recovering well and feeling better. Big Fish is currently in Durban helping Thobekile Mkhwanazi with sounds for the mix of her DVD, Thobekile Live at Imbizo Empangeni which will be released during Easter.
Big Fish was quoted saying “I’m busy in the studio with Thobekile who will be releasing a great DVD by Easter. People should expect a great DVD. It’ll bless their lives,” he said. Big Fish added that he was driving an S350 CDI Mercedes-Benz at the time of the accident. “I’m really excited about my speedy recovery. This shows how great the God we serve is. “Most importantly, I want to thank the people of Mzansi and the SADC region. They stood by my side in difficult times.
He also thanked the media for their support. Big Fish discovered some of Mzansi’s top gospel stars, including Thobekile, Hlengiwe Mhlaba and Tshepiso Motaung.
