While everyone was almost certain that ‘’your mom’s favourite rapper’’ A-Reece was done and out, the young rapper pounced back with a new song titled “Meanwhile In Honeydew”.
The Young King again links up with the production ingenuity of MashBeatz.
The duo had earlier linked up with Flame for A Wrecking Crew reunion on “Feelings” which is still dominating the circuit. However, “Meanwhile In Honeydew” is an extended smash and it looks like A-Reece does have a lot of issues to address.
It all boils down to the assertion of making his own world, music and vibes. At the same time, Baby Boy takes the spoon-fed haters to the cleaners with a subtle jab and KO that definitely stings.
Once A-Reece was done with the lyrical massacre on “Meanwhile In Honeydew”, the gear switches seamlessly to a singing drive that you’d think you were about switching unto another smash. Talk about double-trouble in the world of A-Reece.
Importantly, the “Paradise” rapper gets his bars and delivery well-laced over an abundance of banging beats, instrumentals and production as cooked up by the prolific Mashbeatz. Now, we are just waiting for his version of the beats of “Meanwhile In Honeydew”.
The content is dope, the delivery massive and we can as well see the work ethic of the Pretoria native whose real name is Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge. We wouldn’t even be surprised if A-Reece gets to build an empire on South Africa’s massively competitive hip hop circuit.
