Thando Thabethe has once again been recognized for the hard-working woman that she is. This time around, the TV & Radio beauty walked away with a prestigious accolade.

For the past two years hair and beauty franchise Candi & Co have recognised people who have achieved greatness in their careers at their annual Influencer awards ceremony. This year’s ceremony was held at Fairlawns Hotel, north of Johannesburg, where Thando Thabethe received the overall influencer award.

Thando owned 2017 by succeeding in balancing her acting career with her job as a radio DJ, launching her Thabooty lingerie range and becoming an ambassador for vodka brand Ciroc.

Model and TV personality K Naomi scooped up the breakthrough influencer award.

Candi & Co’s managing director Candice Thurston says their company is big on driving entrepreneurship and the winners this year are people who have demonstrated hard work within their careers, yet they’ve remained humble. “Congratulations to everyone. Continue the hard work you do in our country.”
