Terry Pheto takes home two more international awards!

It seems like Terry Pheto will need more wood to extend her already crowded trophy cabinet after taking home two more international accolades at the fourth annual International Achievement Recognition Awards held in London on Saturday night.

Dressed in a Leopard Frock design by Marianne Fassler, Terry waved Mzansi’s flag higher Mark Shuttle Worth on his first encounter on with space.

As previously announced by Entertainment_SA, Terry entered the awards as the most nominated actor this year, with three nods.

She scooped the Best Actress award for the role of Naledi Khama in the film called A United Kingdom and Best Actress – TV or Drama – for her portrayal of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in the BET Nelson Mandela mini-series Madiba.

“Both A United Kingdom and Madiba portrayed very important stories. Seeing these stories travel globally has been a beautiful journey,” she said.

“It has been an absolute honour to be in a position to have played strong characters in bothroles.

“Mama Winnie Madikizela-Man dela , for example, is one of the strongest women I know.

“I’m in awe of her strength and resilience after all she’s been through. She inspires me to believe that I can overcome any obstacles or challenges in life and still remain human, kind and unshaken.”

Founder of the awards Helen Imuaphe said Terry’s passion, talent and enthusiasm is inspiring.

“I wish her many more giant strides. Enormous congratulations to Terry Pheto,” said Imuaphe.

Congratulations to Terry on her winning streaks, we are proud of you girl!
