Drake drops a 21-minute film shot in South Africa!

Following his recent visit on South Africa’s soil, Drake has shown nothing but mega love for our diverse country by releasing his ‘much anticipated’ 21-minute shot in Soweto.

The Toronto rapper whose latest album Views has reached excellent chart success, dropped a film set which includes tracks from the his latest music.

The film features well-known figures like Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan, Belgian actress Fanny Neguesha and SA’s very own Bob Nameng, whose non-profit organization Soweto Kliptown Youth (SKY) gives opportunities to street children through arts.

Entitled Please Forgive Me, the 21-minute movie kicks-off with a wealthy man offering Drake's girlfriend, played by Fanny Neguesha, money for a chance to tame her. Things turn ugly as she and Drake decide to keep the money.

Please Forgive Me was directed by Anthony Mandler, best known for filming videos by Rihanna. In 2013 he led a film of similar length by singer Lana Del Rey.

Released exclusively on Apple Music, Drake had initially said he would release the film later in the week but without explanation pushed up the date.
