Judging from the pics shared on social media, it is only fair to say that Christmas vibes have been kicked to the curb by Thando Thabethe’s bridal shower.

The television and radio personality easily took the spotlight away from Christmas by gathering all her girlfriends for a very pink, very girly and very flowery-themed bridal shower this weekend.

And to make things a little more special, Thabooty proposed to all of her friends, asking them to be her bridesmaids.

Each bridesmaid received a proposal package in the form of a gift basket that of course came with a Mango-flavoured bottle of Ciroc Vodka.

Thando was surround by her closest girlfriends including founder and owner of Nails on Wheels, Kgomotso Mokgabudi and close long-time friend, Nontombi Kuzwayo.

Unlike most bridal showers though, Thando’s hubby-to-be Frans Mashao joined the girls for all the fun in the sun.

Thando and Frans have been together for almost five years now and got engaged in July of this year while in Ibiza.

The engagement was unplanned and Frans didn’t have a ring at the time of proposal, but they were so in love that they made it work, they decided then and there that they would be together for the rest of their lives.
