I understand where your boyfriend is coming from and if I was him, I would also be frustrated at the fact that my woman shouted her ex’s name at the expense of my efforts. However, people tend to make mistakes every now and then. It might be that a certain incident occurred earlier on that contributed to you thinking about your ex, hence your brain automatically responded to your thoughts with an involuntary action.

I might not know how long you and your ex have been apart, but I need you to stop thinking about him since you are in a new relationship. If we want a better present and future for ourselves, we should make efforts to keep the past where it belongs, in the past. I have seen a lot of relationships fail because people still allow their ex’s to have power over their lives, not knowing that those ex’s are only there because they cannot stand you being happy without them.

If you really love your new boyfriend, you will make means to prove to him that there is nothing going on between your ex, and try to restore that lost happiness in multiple folds.
